AA2 Adventure Anthology 2
Re: Adventure Anthology 2
I like #2 the best, both the look of the tower and the moonlight. Since AA2 will eventually be headed to print grayscale will work best.
Re: Adventure Anthology 2
I'll work up a finished b/w version of #2 shortly. Glad that one of them worked.

Here's the version of the image for the RAID ON TOWER AQUILA. Should I email it as well (this link will take you to the 300 dpi version)

That looks great! Go ahead and email it to Solo just so he can have it in his queue for AA2 releases.
Re: Adventure Anthology 2
Thanks Chiisu, already sent it to Chris. Glad that you liked it. Pen and ink, with a digital sky.

Re: Adventure Anthology 2
I cannot promise anything, but I have some open time coming up, and I was wondering if people would be interested in me reworking a map or two from the Anthology in my usual style (see msjx.org for examples). I could do up a map in simple black and white fairly quickly.

Matt, I bookmarked your site and love your maps. I also like the "One-Page Dungeon" style one as well. Keep up the artwork (it helps keep me sane, I know).mattjackson wrote:I cannot promise anything, but I have some open time coming up, and I was wondering if people would be interested in me reworking a map or two from the Anthology in my usual style (see msjx.org for examples). Thanks teaman. The mapping is a huge stress reliever for me.

Re: Adventure Anthology 2
Matt, your work is nice, but it would have to include gridlines somehow before I'd be willing to substitute your maps for ours. Mapping in actual play is too hard otherwise.
... on a related note: I mentioned here before (and in my RPG Primer) that one of my players and I worked out a way to describe a map in words that allows him to quickly map out what I describe. In yesterday's session, another player took over mapping and she had obviously been paying attention, as she quickly mastered the entire procedure. I was so happy! Now we have two good mappers!

Re: Adventure Anthology 2
What this secret method? Have a link somewhere?
I worked up a map based on the map provided in "A Matter of Justice" using my usual style. I had to slightly move room six so I could add some depth to the wall, but other than that it should nearly match the one provided in the adventure. I will be posting this to my Patreon page shortly so if you guys do not want to use it, no worries. I understand wanting to keep a particular and similar style across the range of projects you guys offer.
