Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

I would certainly lend my proofing hand, but I don't see an ODT download...

There is an ODT on the Downloads page for "Old Monsters as Player Characters" that contains the same typo.

I can work from that one if needed, but would prefer to edit the current R3. Smoot, can you upload to first post or email to me (chiisu81 at basicfantasy.org)?
In R2 I see a corrected Troglodyte entry at the end. What was the reason for that, and is it really needed anymore (assuming it's still in R3)?

It was an error in the first edition of the core rules, and is no longer needed.

Agreed. The stench was added to the trog entry a long time ago.Solomoriah wrote:It was an error in the first edition of the core rules, and is no longer needed.
I will see if there is a more recent draft, but it will take time. Probably located on another hard drive from older computer. It may just be easier to start with the release that you have handy.

r4 uploaded here. I copied the text from the r3 PDF, made corrections, and added artwork from the Core Rules. I think I got all the artists credited. Corrected the credits on the OGL page as well.
Edit: r4 now on the Downloads page

Re: Monster Creations and Conversions Discussion
ok let me know what you think:Mod note: moved from the Monster Creation/Conversion thread
minotaur as a PC
+2 on armor class due to thick hide
Minimum 14 on strength and constitution
Maximum 15 on intelligence and charisma
he has a keen sense of smell and direction but i need a % on what is fair now if he is a hunter he gets a +20% on tracking ability
at the beginning of battle he can charges on his movement and gore (horns) 1D8+mod.
I also need something for his hide checks

Check the Bisren from the New Races Supplement

Re: Monsters as Player Characters
I'd be tempted to give the Bisren an enhanced peripheral vision with a very small blind spot.
So basically, they'd be harder to hit from behind, at a cost of a narrower binocular vision.
Which just means they move their head a lot.
They would have a keener sense of smell, but not enough to track in my opinion.
Maybe a bonus to tracking, if the character has the skill, but no default tracking.
Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.
